Slowly moving in age towards CryptKeeper status (ok, I know at 33 it's not THAT bad, but sometimes it sure feels like it), I find myself missing the theater I grew up with locally.
The Berkshire Public Theater was the one year-round theater in Western Mass that put on any of the shows worth seeing. Unfortunately, they found themselves almost too experiemental to succeed (or at least keep up with the back taxes that can cripple a small-town theater group). But the people attempting to put on the shows were wonderful and I miss them and their lifestyle.
On a less melancholic note, got two of my pieces off to the state of NY for some grant money, hopefully. That's proactive, n'est pas?
