When getting about 50,000 words into a project and deciding to switch perspective from third person to first person, go play any one of several video games instead:

* The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
* Wolverine's Revenge (a little carnage goes a long way)
* Buffy TVS: Chaos Bleeds (some vampire slaying can't hurt, esp. with Mr. Pointy at your side)
* Prince of Persia (Use this SAT-like metahpor to judge it's greatness- PoP is to Tomb Raider what Grand Theft Auto 3 is to Driver 2)
* The Legend of Zelda: WindWaker (c'mon man! You're at least halfway done with it!)
* Blood Rayne (more vamps and for 9 bucks, I couldn't resist)

You would think I worked at a Best Buy rather than in my high profile publishing job.. geesh!
