Ok, not so much a theory as a question...

I personally find it hard to be creative, witty, what-have-you, in LJ and also keep the stamina going in whatever pieces I'm writing. I realize that the LJ is a vent of sorts, but consistently reading a goodly amount of interesting LJ's, there are several thoughts in my head (this is where the non-bunny theories come in).

Possibly:

1) the people who I like to read on LJ are profound and not only witty and intelligent here but that their writing outside of LJ kicks ass (for this I envy them and would strive to be more like them... currently, there are only two of them who do this for me)

2) the people who I like to read on LJ blow their whole creative wad in LJ and that's it and their fiction probably blows meaty chunks outside of it

3) I personally have trouble keeping both going at times, and realize there is more balance for others than I'm capable of at this time.

4) I need to shut myself up and get back to writing before NK starts railing on the level of whining in my posts.
