If you ever have the urge to walk into a CompUSA of your own volition, do yourself a favor.

Slam an axe as hard as you can through your frontal lobe and enjoy the cool breeze at the core of your brain, because this will be a more pleasurable experience.

I have come to loathe the entire setup of CompUSA over the years. I wouldn't even have been in one except to exchange a gift. Long story short, they tried to turn a 20 dollar price difference into 140 dollars worth. All because of their screw up and failure to own up to the situation. The details are too painful for me to share right now. Everyone I dealt with acted like I was trying to rip off their personal property.

Keep in mind that I have a receipt, all the cords and disks, and am 4 months into a 2 year warranty.

End result: Someone's getting yelled at there, I'm getting my upgrade for free, and all is right in the universe.

I'll never shop there ever again, but their customer service person that I got rocked!
