Well, 6 hours into my work day and I'm finally caught up with my ten day absence from LJ. Whew!

I will not be recapping this year nor will I be gearing up what I want to accomplish next year. Frankly, I've been continuing on with what I wish to be doing and the crossover from Dec to Jan is hardly a reason for me to recap.

Nor will I say THINGS ARE GONNA START HAPPENING TO ME NOW. If they do, they do. I will at least be more aggressive about several of my writing persuits, but I was already on track with that.

I could also tell you about the 8 days in West Texas in a town of 2,121 people, all of whom I met, it seems. Or of the javelina that tried to attack S. Or how I flew glider planes. Or how the lecture went on publishing or writing.

But I'm not up for it right now. Suffice it to say I'm glad the holidays have passed this year, big changes are in the works, and I may possibly live to see 2006.

May, mind you.

Some highlights:

got and read The Evil Dead Companion".. love the Raimi series and the book rocked with lots of behind the scene goodies. Now I just need to own Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness.

Lessee... also got Kill Bill both parts

Also, ate more chili rellenos than man thought humanly possibly. That's what happens when you're 60 minutes from the Mexican borders... actually, I stuffed myself like a piniata last week... may actually attempt to diet a bit this year...

And while becoming delirious in my fifteenth hour of travel yesterday, I sketched out a couple of pages of notes for a short story that began to form, so we'll see where that leads me...

Must update my wish list at Amazon as I turn 35 on the 24th. Don't worry, I'll keep the prices low and pass the savings on to YOU!
