I think I am genetically predisposed to like the film The Life Aquatic. Where else can you get almost every piece of music being a David Bowie tune played accoustically with Portugeuse lyrics over then? And it is the first time I've ever heard Life on Mars? in a film! I nearly died..I had waited years to hear him play it in concert and it was only during the Sound & Vision tour that he finally did. Few songs have such an effect on me.

Overall, liked the film in that with all that Wes Andersen brand of oddity going on. I could go into more detail on all of this, but frankly I am in a partial food coma thanks to some Chinese take out... must pull out of it!
