So I WAS going to take yesterday as my day off from work in celebration of my birthday, but I was feeling a little guilty missing Wed to Friday last week due to my heart attack/anxiety attack, so I went it. I took today off instead cuz nothing rings in a birthdayish day off than a nice teeth cleaning followed by a root canal! Wheee!

I must say, though, as far as root canals go, it wasn't bad. I really need to go down on my dentist and thank her properly. She's a mildly attractive Russian woman and she's never caused me an ounce of pain in the past five years, and she's terribly kind at getting me to relax in the chair and stop squirming. I should put out for her.

Sensation is finally returning to the left side of my face.

You know what got me through it? Sammy the Cat playing Independent Woman on the xylophone in my head...
