Things that happened yesterday that made for a good day:

- a McGriddle with Sausage, Egg & Cheese
- lunch with the girl, followed by some Guitar Hero
- finding out that an unsolvable problem with my database kinda fixed itself. I don't ask why, I just accept it
- the most amazing chocolate vegan birthday cake for razorart. It weighed about 50 tons and was so dense I expected a black hole to open up over it and start sucking in matter.
- a near perfect night in workshop, where for the first time ever that was indeed the only comment
- the turkey-brie-sundried tomato-honey mustard sammich from the deli right before workshop
- ended day with tipsy girlfriend giving me a Magnolia cupcake (they're ok, not amazing) and banana pudding (which, while only pudding, was fucking fantastic)

I don't see how today is going to really follow up comparatively, but I may actually get more writing done and I already have a lunch scheduled with two working authors today, so we shall see.

Edit: Boss called out, so the day is shaping up to be just as fantastic.
