I cast Magic Missile!

  • Mar. 4th, 2008 at 9:30 PM
Dead To Me
I was hit harder than I expected by the death of Gary Gygax, who I last saw talking about the forty year history of Gencon.

But I have to ask this question:
Has anyone thought to cast Animate Dead?
Or at least a Cure Light Wounds to keep him from dropping below -10 hit points?

I was going to make some sort of "+1 charisma" comment or something, but then my D&D knowledge is very, very weak. You've topped yourself with that comment.

Sometimes when you ask the gods for healing, they say "No."

Well we know Raise Dead wouldn't work, as it does not work on a 'natural' aging death *sigh*

Funny, I never saw you for a RPer, oh, and does Tink know she was hugging a D&D Geek? Ewwww! ^_^

Congrats on the new book BTW!

Mr. Gygax
I have a singing sword that give it's user the power ro raise the dead. Unfortunatly sometimes it also kills them.
it's very fickle..A sad day for all us gaming nerds.

Unfortunately, Wizard Gygax was the only one who could cast that spell...

Wow. Just...wow. I don't have any d20 or saving throw jokes.

When I was hospitalized in college, my friends brought me some Gary Gygax novels to help me pass the time. Gord the Rogue books, they were.

This is just too sad-making.
